Big Daddy Wilson
Big Daddy Wilsons not only looks like a real soul artist, more importantly, he sings and lives the soul like the really big ones from the scene. It has the lively intensity of Dennis Edwards, but reaches effortlessly into the comforting depths of Melvin Franklin. A voice whose charisma captures the listener with its own magic and without wasting time "takes" it on an acoustic journey. Look forward to an authentic artist with an unmistakable style of his own.
Dana Fuchs Band
The American singer Dana Fuchs is a vocal wonder: she could also sing the phone book and the audience would still be spellbound. Raised in Florida, she sang in a gospel choir in her youth and moved to Manhattan at the age of 19, where her blues rock career finally began after a difficult start. In the meantime she has recorded four CDs with her Dana Fuchs Band, played the famous Janis Joplin in the musical “Love, Janis” and sang some Beatles classics as Sadie in the film “Across The Universe”, which are now also part of her live program have held.
Soulfamily
Mr. Big Fat Mad Moose & The Soulfamily are an integral part of the music scene and are among the most successful soul bands in Germany. Last year the collective celebrated its 25th stage anniversary, but the Soulfamily has not lost a bit of its passion even after more than 500 stage appearances - on the contrary! On October 25th we can see it for ourselves once more in Halle.

A musical legend in Halle - Manfred Mann's Earth Band completes the line-up of the 12th B&W Rhythm 'n' Blues Festival. The South African keyboard virtuoso has made a name for himself around the world with his Earth Band since the early 1970s and with songs like “Mighty Quinn”, “Ha! Ha! Said The Clown ”or“ Blinded By The Light ”made music history. Even after four decades, Manfred Mann's Earth Band are still on tour regularly and will also make a stop in Halle on October 25, 2014 in order to ecstasy the audience at Germany's largest indoor blues festival.
