There isn't much to report yet, but what we know so far is more than curious: OPTICON will be called the new series and will include seven models from the start. DALI describes the series as a "newcomer" series, so it is aimed primarily at hi-fi and home cinema fans who are looking for a lot of sound quality for a low price. In this role, the OPTICON boxes will inherit the successful IKON series. The note in the official announcement that a lot of experience from the RUBICON and EPICON series has flowed into the development of the OPTICON loudspeakers sounds particularly promising, because these are undisputedly among the best loudspeakers in their respective classes. As I said, the little information available so far makes you want more, and we will report as soon as we learn something new. Fortunately, the wait will soon be over, because the official market launch of the OPTICON series will take place on August 6th. Of course, the AUDITORIUM is there from the start and should have all new speakers ready for demonstration on time!
