'Passion for picture and sound', that inevitably also means passion for music. We are therefore particularly pleased to be able to support and present the MUENSTER MUSIC DAYS this year. The MUENSTER MUSIC DAYS 2014 take place as part of the SOUND LAKE CITY event program and are an invitation to high-quality musical experiences in a special environment and in a special atmosphere. The venue provides the more than appropriate setting for the concerts: the CLOUD hall in the Factory Hotel. The committed team of the organizers has once again managed to bring an exquisite selection of artists to Münster who promise unique musical moments. The AUDITORIUM will of course also be on site and present itself, as well as hi-fi systems with which you can bring the live experience home. CRISTINA BRANCO from Portugal arouses all the emotions that fado has to offer with its close connection between voice, poetry and music. Respect for tradition goes hand in hand with a dedication to innovation. In doing so, she has created a style that is completely new and possibly unique. In the opening act of Cristina Branco, the local band DUO SONETTA will open the Münster Music Days 2014. The musicians Sona Jafarova and Sebastian Netta move virtuoso through the ancient traditional music of Azerbaijan, the mugham. More information and tickets
Born in a remote little village in Cameroon, RICHARD BONA is now a much sought-after bassist, singer and songwriter at home in metropolises like New York and Paris, where he easily fills the largest concert halls. On his solo albums, Bona removes musical and cultural boundaries and finds a wonderful balance between modern grooves and traditional African melodies. Here we experience him together with his friend and guitarist SYLVAIN LUC as a rarely seen duo. More information and tickets
The TINGVALL TRIO, consisting of the pianist and composer Martin Tingvall, the bassist Omar Rodriguez Calvo and the drummer Jürgen Spiegel, creates melodies whose beauty you have to trust yourself. Dhafer Youssef is a singer, plays a short-necked Arabic lute, the oud, and mixes Arabic melodies with tangible jazz to create compositions and improvisations that have never been heard before.
