Project: Elegant TV integration

Sometimes it is the supposedly small wishes that pose serious challenges for the auditorium planners. Just like in this bedroom that was to be given a television as part of a larger project. That sounds easy, but in the end the experts had to come up with a lot ...

The situation

As for the rest of the house, the interior designer had planned a very clean, minimalist design for the bedroom. In addition, the room should above all benefit from the fantastic view and foresight that the large window fronts offer. The television had to be integrated in such a way that it could be seen comfortably from the bed, but did not obstruct the view of those who woke up in the morning.

The solution 1 - TV in the ceiling

Due to the circumstances and specifications, there was actually only one possible place for the TV set, the ceiling. The screen size and mounting position were therefore determined in consultation with the landlord and interior designer. The auditorium experts then selected a folding mechanism that was as flat as possible and adjusted it to meet the requirements. When switched off, the television now disappears behind a white cover flush in the ceiling. If you want to use inn, it automatically folds out at an angle of 100 degrees into the perfect viewing position.

Solution 2 - Invisible Sound

Like all modern flat TVs, the sound of the device used was a bit too thin, especially in the installation position implemented here. That is why the brilliant picture of the flat screen TV required sound support, which was implemented with flush-mounted speakers on the left and right of the device. These are built into the wall (or in this case the ceiling) and can be plastered over, painted and even wallpapered. The sound characteristics of the loudspeakers are then precisely adapted to the materials above using several precise measurements, so that the best possible sound is achieved.

Fully integrated

Of course, the absolutely invisible speakers not only reproduce the TV sound, they are also connected to the house's multiroom system and can play music from the central server, the radio or a streaming service. It is conveniently controlled using an app for a tablet or smartphone.
